1.
Do I have to buy a whole pallet or a whole ton?
NO! We have scales that allow you to purchase smaller amounts, and the prices are pro rated, so you pay only for what you take.
2. How much does a pallet of stone weigh?
Average pallet weight is 3,000-3,500 lbs. Depending on the type of stone, we occasionally get small pallets (around 2,500 lbs) and some large ones (4,000 lbs). Since you pay only for what you need, pallet weight is not as critical.
3. Do I have to load my own stone?
Sometimes! We usually have able-bodied assistance available to help you load. We hope that you will share the experience, and if individual stones are too difficult to move alone, we also have equipment to assist us in getting the material into your vehicle.
4. What if I just need a sample to show my spouse/client?
Small samples of stone are always available to take home as samples. Cut stone or large pieces must be purchased.
5. Does Madawaska Hardscape Products install products too?
No. Madawaska Hardscape Products supplies product only. We have some very good clients who do stonework, hardscaping, landscaping and pond installations professionally, and you may want to talk with them about your project. Call us for a professional installation referral.
6. Does Madawaska Hardscape Products Deliver?
YES. Cost for deliveries are determined by your proximity to your MHP location. Please call for a delivery charge estimate.
7. How much lead time do I have to give for a delivery?
Typically we can deliver in one to three days. During the peak seasons the schedule can go up to five days. We schedule on a first-come, first-served basis, so please try to give as much notice as possible.
8. How do I calculate the amount of material I'll need for my project?
